What is in E-Liquid?

E-Liquid is what proves the nicotine solution and flavor to your vaporizer. It creates the vapor you inhale that visually resembles smoke from regular cigarettes. E-Liquid is generally composed of up to five ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin, flavoring, nicotine, and distilled water (if needed).

Base ingredients such as Propylene Glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycerin (VG) make up 80-90% of most e-liquids. PG is often used as a flavoring carrier in food products, and juices containing higher amounts of VG will produce thicker clouds of vapor. VG is derived from plant oils and is often used in a variety of food and personal care products, such as toothpaste and sweeteners. Most e-liquids contain a mixture of both ingredients.

Flavoring makes up 10-20% of your e-liquid. Countless flavors are available to suit different tastes, such as cherry, espresso and tobacco.

E-Liquid generally contains nicotine (from 0.3 to 2.4%), but nicotine-free flavors are available. The nicotine strength of the e-liquid use will depend on how many traditional cigarettes you are consuming daily.

Distilled water is also occasionally added if dilution is necessary.

Ultimately, remember just what e-liquid does not contain: the thousands of dangerous chemicals found in cigarettes. Find e-liquid from Cuttwood, Ruthless, Lost Art Liquids, and more at AlluringVapors.com.
